Recently John Kerry wrote in the Washington Post, that with “U.S. troops in Iraq in the middle of an escalating civil war, this is no time for politics.”\\n\\n”Half of the service members listed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial,” Senator Kerry wrote, “died after America\\\’s leaders knew that our strategy in that war was not working.”\\n\\nPresident Bush\\\’s strategy is not working and we need to change course now. It is time to set a deadline for President Bush to redeploy our troops.\\n\\nLast November\\\’s elections, when a Democratic congressional majority was elected, made it clear that this is the will of a strong majority of the American people.
